these shots are from emily at the london shop fronts project. she’s collecting photos of great london shop fronts and it’s a real feast for the eyes. all of the different shop signs and fonts always inspire me to play around with type more. click here for more info- thanks emily!

Very strange seeing so many familiar sights on Design*Sponge! I live in Stokie – ‘Kac’ and ‘Get Stuffed’ are particular favourites, they’ve been there forever.

Ugh. I think that the graphic designers out there will join me in trying to scrub our eyes clean after those visions. To bad, as the pic on design sponge was so lovely.

This is indeed my manor too – I always marvel at the fantastically bad PC font hell that appears on all the wee London independent shops. Now the Turkish restaurants of Green Lanes… theres a project
