hannah nunn lighting

these beautiful cut-paper lamps are from from british designer hannah nunn. based in yorkshire, england, hannah handmakes her papercut table lamps with delicate botanical motifs inspired by the natural world. i love the soft glow each piece gives off and the sweetness of each design- i love being able to see an artist’s hand in their work. hannah has a background in making silhouette-based papercut greeting cards (which she used to sell in harrods and liberty) and thought it would be beautiful to see light shine through her designs. after testing out her concept, she came up with these beautiful paper lamps that she now sells at her etsy shop, and her own craft boutique ‘radiance‘ in the uk. click here to check out hannah’s main website, here for her blog, and here for her etsy shop. her lighting at the etsy shop ranges from $83-$98 and is simply beautiful.

Those lamps are gorgeous. Not only unique, I think they would work in a lot of different rooms, whereas many unique styles wouldn’t.

I have Hannah lamps all over my house, they are perfect for bedside tables giving a cosy atmospheric light that is also perfect to read by – so practical too! My little girl has a less well known children’s hannah lamp with little houses and loads of details and lights glowing through the little windows. Strung above my fireplace I have her adorable fairy lights which are stunning! She is a star I recommend you check out her website. x
