ikat teapot


i published an ikat guide with the help of my wintern des last month, and of course i keep finding new pieces i want to add to it. this gorgeous ikat teapot is available at sheherazade in nyc for $45 is is calling my name. it would really add some style to my morning cup of tea. click here for more info and to shop. O! My God, this reminds me of my childhood in Moscow, Soviet times. I believe my grandma still has one. Will ask her if she has the whole set. Thanks for bringing back memories

can anyone give me information about the Ikat teapot; country of origin, when these were manufactured. There is a real lack of information on the Internet about teapots like these so if anyone with personal knowledge can help it would be much appreciated, thanks
