Before I get started on this (super-duper exciting opportunity to) guest blog, I wanted to introduce myself. I’m a Cincinnati based designer and an adjunct professor in digital design at the University of Cincinnati. Last spring when I was starting-up my design business, Miller Cormier, I wanted a place to collect and store some research and ideas. I have always been one to draw letters (like the “hello” above), but I was wondering how I could get that kind of stuff into my regular design work. That was the beginning of the Oatmeal&Cinnamon blog. And ever since I have been collecting things I see that use hand lettering, hand writing, calligraphy & doodles. This week I plan to share some of my collection with the you.
