paperwink address stamps

stat_stamp_burlap_big
living in recession times means i’ve had to shut off that part of me that says “ooh! that’s cute- where do i click to buy?” but today i’ve politely told the “don’t buy anything” voice in my head to shove it while i order one of these beautiful custom wooden address stamps from paperwink. justification #1: they’re only $18. justification #2: i need to write addresses for wedding thank yous at some point anyway. justification #3: they’ll save me time (and avoid using paper labels) when i inevitably am the one who ends up writing thank yous till my hand starts to go numb or fall off (whichever comes first). so currently i’m deciding between ’sunburst’, ‘telegram’, ’stars’ and ’slant’. which one will it be? i’m so excited. click here to check out paperwink’s full selection of address stamps. [thanks, darcey and tara!]

Wow! These are absolutely gorgeous. I love ‘telegram’! Would be very pretty with some metallic ink.

I love the idea of a Stamp return address…saves paper labels and is just so fabulously retro!

Hmmm…Perhaps Penelope & Anastasia packages would look so much prettier with one of these!!

oh, man! i’m a goner for those, too; the only thing keeping my $18 in my pocket is that i’m moving this year (at which point, y’know, it can be a housewarming present to myself). come to think of it, these would make great housewarming presents!

Oh wow! These are fabulous. I’ll be needing this for sending baby announcements, great “time saver” ;) The only problem is choosing a design! Thanks for sharing!

these are super cute! you can also probably find a place that makes custom stamps (a little more pricy than $18), if anyone wanted to design their own.

i made my husband write the thank you notes to everyone on his family’s invite list–it took us six months to get them out.

Perfect timing, Grace! I was just thinking that I should buy new address labels (since I moved, um, seven months ago). I like the idea of getting one of these stamps better! Off to order mine …

I want one of these NOW, but unfortunately I need to wait until we buy our first home in a few months.

these are lovely, I can’t decide which one I want!

Oh, and do be sure, if you use these on something to be mailed, that you use a stamp pad ink that won’t run if it gets wet. (ask me how I know, I decorated party invitations with stamping and it rained, they were a multicolor mess)

I love “Sunburst” and “Curly.” I wish I knew about these after I got married. I’m ordering one for my best friend for her birthday and of course, one for myself.

I love these. I have a couple people in mind that these would make fun first house, and moving gifts. I’m just waiting for their addresses. Then maybe one for me :)

they are fabulous! part of the reason we are where we are right now is because of people cutting back on spending when they are in a position where they don’t have to. so, if you have it…spend it! thank you.

What a novel idea? In these economically challenging times, an inexpensive yet creative product! I’ll use the stamps for business and personal mail, and for holiday gifts, and for birthdays, rewards…

You will thank your lucky stars that you have an address stamp once you get around to doing the thank-you notes from the wedding. Mine SAVED MY LIFE. I use my stamp all the time now, even though I’m done with the thank-yous. It’s just so HANDY.
