Very cool. Would be funny to see the newly dressed books sitting on that dog, with the original covers in his mouth.
PS The link for book city jackets seems weird -- probably better at bookcityjackets.com

oh wow, nostalgia alert!
My best friend and I coordinated our cover paper purchases and split them amongst the both of us so we had twice the amount of different designs. I always ended up doodling on my neighbours' brown paper covers though.
My favourite was my agenda, which came with a clear plastic cover. I made an entire collage behind it displaying everything I loved (from Mister Darcy to Cartman :D)

I used to love sitting down with old grocery bags and making covers (no contact paper for me!).

Maybe I should try it again, just for fun.

love these covers (and the shelf)! i used to make book covers out of my architect dad's old blueprints--they looked awesome and as a bonus, there were tons of windows to doodle little people and dioramas in when i was in math class.
