new: rubie green bedding

rubiebedding1
i’m a big fan of michelle adams and rubie green. i met her back in my domino days and have been so happy to watch her develop, launch and grow her textile business. michelle has been working on a line of organic cotton bedding for a while and, as of today, her line is officially available! i have such a soft spot for the romantic colors she uses (i love those soft pinks and yellows!) and am so thrilled to see them incorporated into sheets, duvet covers, shams and bed skirts. for the girl who likes a feminine bed (that’s me), michelle’s collection is heaven (i can’t tell you how badly i want to call that yellow bed vignette my own). all these beautiful photographs (some of which were taken at former domino editor tom delavan’s apt) were shot by patrick cline, with whom michelle just launched a small company called lonny (which stands for london and new york) which sells limited edition prints and offers styling and photography services.

rubie green’s bedding collection is made from 300 three-count organic cotton percale and includes three prints: east village (in pink), tillinghast (in yellow), and habibi (in black). there is also a lovely black and white “classic” style for those looking for something a little simpler. all of the sets are designed to be mixed and matched and are machine-washable. prices range from $149-$199 for sheets, $169-$219 for duvet covers, $39-$49 for shams, and $79-$109 for bedskirts. click here to view the collection online.

This makes me so, so happy! I’ve been toying with a major bedroom makeover for a while, and I think this just made my decision for me! Love the styling as well…

i think the site might be down. it’s hosted on mediatemple so i wouldn’t be surprised if it crashed. i used to be with them and our site was always down. ugh.

I LOVE these! I think the pink and white zigzag may find it’s way to my daughter’s room. I am also having trouble with the links.

Wish the links worked to get to her site!

i emailed michelle to ask about the site. if it’s a mediatemple crash it will probably be back up in 10 minutes or so. they usually reset automatically in about that much time…

Lovely, and the girl on the yellow bed is such a perfect picture. Sadly I’ve realised that the downside of marriage is that my husband raises an eyebrow if the bed linen gets too girly, otherwise I’d be going for that pink straight away (sigh)

I may inherit a old beautiful pink blanket with pom pom trim….so I must have the pink zig zag shams!

Hmmm…should I paint my yellow ikea hemnes four poster white just to go with this beautiful bedding?

Hi there,

If you weren’t able to load the site a little earlier, it’s up and running now. Sorry for the hiccup!

I want that pink print so badly but my boy might be resistant to such a feminine color.

I feel like it’s a rarity to to find organic sheets that are beautiful and stylish to boot. These prints are beautiful.

I was looking through an old issue of domino last night and I swear some of this bedding was on the cover. So beautiful and organic. I might need to get some.

What a beautiful find! I’m currently putting together a registry for my August wedding and was wondering if there might be design*spongeworthy registries that I don’t know about. I’m horrified to admit that all I have so far are CB2 and Bed Bath & Beyond. Have you ever considered a post on registries and good finds at big retailers? Thank you!

heather

if you search “wedding registry” in the d*s search box at the top right you’ll see my two posts on registries- one at d*s and one at etsy.

I love the gray walls! I’ve been looking for a gray paint that isn’t so dark I have to paint my furniture lighter. Any idea what the paint color is?
