i love love love sanna annukka’s prints. they’re a bit out of my price range these days, but it never hurts to dream. i love the little hints of gold in each piece- and the purple. oh, the purple. for some reason i’m obsessed with super girly colors right now- purple, pale pink, soft lavenders. click here for more info. they remind me of the old aztec calendar, medallions, and artwork featured on the sides of the temples…

quetzalcoatl reincarnated!

I love her work! My favorite print of hers is Sunrise, which is sold out [and maybe that's better for my wallet!].

I love that purple too! Purple’s not so girly, I don’t think. Takes a certain kinda man to rock it though. :)

These are gorgeous. I love printmaking, I wish I knew more about screen printing.

Same here, I wish she offered some of the more expensive ones in screenprints for less $$.

I’m also a big fan of her work but I’m really hoping he’ll do a cheaper version of her prints soon. 200£ is a bit too much for my budget unfortunately…

If you’ve got access to Marimekko products then I’ve got good news for you because Sanna Annukka has a couple of prints for Marimekko’s spring collection.

… and not only that, Marimekko have released the Kanteleen Kutsu print (based on characters and icons from Finnish national folk tales) as two sets of teatowels. They’re perfect for framing (or just making the dishes more fun) and at $25 for a pair, a fraction of the price of a Sanna Annukka original. See also http://www.alwaysmod.com for marimekko products.
