before & after: theresa’s projects

2323232327ffp8nu3235
these before & after projects come from san francisco-based author and crafter, theresa gonzalez. theresa has a great book, ‘dorm decor‘, coming out in may, but in the meantime she’s sharing these fun furniture makeover projects with us. i love the playful cake stand- it makes me want to spray paint all of my plain surfaces with a colorful doily pattern. thanks to theresa for sharing!

The cake stand is ADORABLE!! Great transformation from something that you would throw away to something that you can display.

Does anyone know what the fabric on the chair is? It would be perfect for my dining room!

i have to stop myself from having too many items in my house that are in this teal blue family… such a happy color.

though I have to admit i’m getting a little tired of the orla kiely flower pattern lately.
