my god – my favorite house ever on sneak peak. So many things I don’t know where to start. The emphasis on black and dark rich colors used in bright white rooms is amazing and fresh. Take the time to look at the extra photos – the one of the tile tub surround is so great, even if its sideways. I love that the whole house has elements that are repeated throughout – each room has individuality but also refers to the other rooms on basic levels. And it looks completely liveable, individual and warm, while radiating contemporary style. Seriously though – is that a big screen TV in the kitchen, my only regret if it is.

Thanks for all the kind words and to Grace for posting. No, there is not a big screen tv in the kitchen. The wallpaper in the kitchen desk area is from wallpaperfromthe70s.com. The master bath fixtures are Kohler and the vanity was custom made in New Orleans. We change the quotes on the kitchen chalkboard every couple of weeks so can’t remember that particular one, but the one up there now is by Buddah, Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace. Come visit NOLA anytime and stop by if you’re in town for Jazz Fest (we live a few blocks away) and see the house in person. Love to have y’all and thanks so much for looking.
