three potato four + scavenger birthday

hovis_tins_lifestyle
good morning! i have family in town today so i’m heading out a bit early, but i wanted to start things off with these cute bread tins at three potato four. i love all-purpose storage that can work in any room and these certainly fit the bill. click here for more info. (i also love that classroom chalkboard)

another fun way to start the morning? by imagining how fun it must have been to be a guest at this zipcar scavenger birthday party in san francisco. i love seeing how little design touches, like these holi colors, make it into real life. click here for more info (thanks, jordan!)

Wow! I thought for a second that they were in Galaxidi, Greece for the traditional flour war! In my Papou’s home town of Galaxidi they have been pelting each other with colored flour on the first day of lent for 200 years! What fun! http://www.dailyfrappe.com/Home/tabid/36/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/2420/FLOUR-FESTIVAL-OF-LENT-IN-GALAXIDI.aspx

for those in the UK, pedlers do the hovis tin (save on P&P – hey come on the pound is weak!) – and loads of that “keep calm and carry on” merchandise!”
