before & after: jane’s recovered stools

ever since jane schouten shared her beautiful patchwork chair with us last year, i’ve been waiting to see what she would work on next. so i was excited to hear from her about these lovely stools she recovered. she has such a way with fabric and embroidery. click here for more images. great work, jane!

Jane doesn’t need all the luck in the world with talent like that. Amazing job. I am wondering about the three red stripes, were they added by Jane and how or did the fabric come that way? Great post. If the readers missed her website, take a look….

So much love put into those stools turning them from something so cold and uninviting to the coziest heartwarming stools I have ever seen! what a touch..of magic!and yes,I agree with the term ‘precious’!

Thank you all! And thank you Grace for showing my stools! The material is a vintage blanket and the red stripes were already on it.
