I’m pleased with myself too! I found a Hornsea mug at a garage sale and bought it for my boyfriend for 25 cents, I thought it was cool and special but I didn’t know it was officially cool and special (now I feel cool and special!!)

Ha, how funny! My husband found a Hornsea mug home from work on Monday night. From the artwork I assume it is John Clappison, not that he new that – he just likes quirky Modernist type stuff. He is rather pleased with himself, now!

The Vancouver mascots are pretty fun! I like that they are made up creatures. We need one for the London Olympics since everyone hates the logo :-(

Wow, that beaver with the rainbow sash brought back memories for me! Here are the mascots for the 2010 winter games in Vancouver. So much to comment on!! brilliant post highlighting mascots and that IR project is wild!! She is quite a woman. Those mugs are so beautiful. I keep thinking that those ceramic mugs from the 70s that always get donated to thrift stores are going to finally make a comeback.
