osborne and little makes some of the most beautiful wallpaper designs in the market right now, so i love seeing projects that involve their work. for those of us who can’t wallpaper our homes, because of rental or cost issues, using smaller sheets of wallpaper for furniture projects is a great alternative. this wallpaper project comes from art director danny luckett, who decided to spruce up a retro-style sideboard that was in desperate need of some help. i know there’s a big group readers that hate to see wood (in any condition) painted or covered, but i think danny’s upgrade is so sophisticated and modern- it’s a piece i know i’d be proud to have in my home. especially when everyone says “that’s so beautiful” and you get to say “thanks, i did that myself”. danny’s upgrade details include: sanding and cleaning the sideboard, painting the insides a rich red, painting the outer frame white (leaving the top natural wood), wallpapering the doors, and adding new modern hardware. great work, danny!
