light my fire

if david wiseman had a fan club, i would totally be an active member. every time he sends me a new design i find myself oohing and ahhing at the screen. and today is no different- i’m crazy for this new custom firescreen he designed. i love the bee/hive details and the little birds- it’s so sweet. i wish more of his work was available in a retail capacity, but until then, i always enjoy checking out his custom work. i’d love to curl up with a good book and some hot chocolate in front of this fire. click here to see more of david’s work.

I am loving this blog – I find myself amazed or laughing – or both – each time I visit… not to mention, inspired!

I’d love to see matching fireplace tools for this screen.

Love it. Any idea what he charges for a screen like this?

If I could, I would stare up in the sky at the clouds and from them would be hanging little porcelain birds. And in the clouds I would see little men at work making little animals out of cloud until one of the porcelain birds was ready to take the little animal down to earth in a bundled cloth. And on her way down the little bird would sing sweet songs.

He is an inspiring designer, the branch chandelier (and the rest of his art), nearly took my breath away, and I told him so!
