So glad I have found the Biz Ladies 09, each installment is better than the last. I have been regrouping, setting goals for the last 8 months and this column has helped so much. You put it in a clear and simple outline easy to follow regardless of what the subject is. I have been in business for nearly 20 years and I never seem to stop learning. Thank you Grace.

Great post and wwritten in a way so that’s it’s not intimidating. I could do this!!!
Jessica: I’m an interior designer in N. Calif. and several of my friends have talked about sharing space as well. We would share fabric/sample libraries and office expenses, while still maintaining our own businesses. We’re still in the researching stage but I think with some ground rules, its a great option.

Great post! I also wanted to share a fantastic resource that has been so helpful for me in coming up with a plan:
The One Page Business Plan by Jim Horan (www.onepagebusinessplan.com). It’s basically a workbook full of creative exercises that help you to create a usable plan that is only one page long. It really helped me to think through and boil down my ideas and goals to their essence. I am allergic to organization, but I found the process fun and not overwhelming.
I also love the portability of a single sheet of paper. I keep mine tacked to my inspiration board to keep me inspired/on track.
