cath kidston + little red riding hood

swoon: a little wednesday morning eye candy, courtesy of the lovely cathy kidston. cath is now selling gorgeous wallpaper, including 10 vintage designs like these fantastic floral patterns. oh to have a bathroom covered in that top left print- like walking through a colorful english garden. click here for more info [via living etc]

from english gardens to fairy tale heroines, today’s guest post from rei jin is my favorite so far. today she’s styling a modern day little red riding hood and i’m dying to slip into half of the things she’s chosen for this cloaked character. click here to check out her updated fair tale selections…

Catherine said: July 15th, 2009 - 10:50 am	That top left wallpaper is the spittin’ image of the 1943 wallpaper we are in the midst of steaming off our master bedroom walls (and the additional two layers of 1980s wallpaper). I can tell you, it does not feel like an English garden when you are sleeping under those giant flowers. :) On a separate note, I love the poufy hat.

Treehouse Collective said: July 15th, 2009 - 12:22 pm	I’ve been holding onto two rolls of Cath’s ‘Boat’ wallpaper for nearly five years now. Waiting, waiting for the perfect place to hang it! The colorful florals are just as lovely. Makes me miss my days working in Cath’s London shops. Would it be crazy to fly across the pond just to shop her summer sale?!

Holly said: July 25th, 2009 - 6:12 pm	Hi guys, The wallpaper is vintage inspired and digitally produced (therefore only 10 prints to choose from and more exclusive) and isn’t available on the internet unfortunately. You need to contact a store and they will order it from HO for you or put you in touch with the right person. Good luck, it is FAB and will make any room.
