design by the book: julia rothman ‘at ease’ pillows

juliaatease
aside from the d*s biz ladies events, design by the book was probably my favorite project i’ve ever worked on for the site. so i’m always happy to hear that design by the book alumni are selling the work they created for the video series.

designer julia rothman just released a limited edition series of 30 pillows featuring the pattern she designed for design by the book, called ‘at ease’. julia’s at ease pillows are 18″ square and are hand silkscreened in two colors with red piping. if you want to get your hands in one of her limited edition pillows click here (click on “shop”) for more info and to shop!

I love this contemporary revisioning of toile. Makes me want to do redo my whole living room in Paris gray with red accents. Sigh . . .

The burgundy coloured trimmings goes very well with the grey/silver print. Very lovely illustrations!

Love the contrast of Red, Grey and maybe white or Black! These pillows would stand out great on a simple, Black chaise! Yes??
