Paper

From the everyday to the extraordinary, today we’ll be sharing some of the amazing things created with paper. They’re the kinds of things that make your jaw drop. When we came across these, we felt like we had no choice but to share them with you! Here are just a few more reasons why you’ve got to love this stuff called paper.

Moooi Paper Furniture

We love the paper furniture from Moooi, it’s so perfectly tailored that we find it hard to believe it’s made of paper. That dining table is sure to be a conversation starter!

Woodnotes

This is spun paper yarn. We didn’t believe it either! Hygenic, safe and durable, this stuff doesn’t collect dust or dirt. Their product is biodegradable and spun of kraft paper.

We just can’t get enough of the amazing paper furniture and walls by Canadian design company molo. They really are spectacular, don’t you think? Can you Imagine an entire room furnished with paper!

WASARA paper tableware

These tablewares from WASARA are the most beautiful paper dishes we have ever seen. And even though they are meant for one time use, by using reed pulp, bamboo and bagasse (sugar cane waste), they become eco-friendly. How great is that!

Paper Dress

We first saw this wonderful Paper Dress posted by Janine of Uppercase, and couldn’t resist showing it to you. Made by Jolis Paons entirely of phone book pages.

Chanel 2009 Spring-Summer Haute Couture

And of course we had to include the Chanel Spring-Summer Haute Couture collection. The wonderful paper hairpieces were designed by Japanese artist Katsuya Kamo specifically for the collection. If you haven’t already, definitely take a look through all the set decor and show images. You won’t be disappointed!

I love Molo furniture! My company uses the Molo walls and seats in our tradeshow booths – makes transport so easy and lightweight! We also bought other paper furniture from a company in Japan – sorry – can’t remember the name.
