Rapunzel

Rapunzel, Ernst Liebermann (via Child Illustration)

I bid you farewell with dear Rapunzel. There’s no better way (for me) to interpret the modern Rapunzel than by introducing you to the beautiful work of my friend and former styling partner, Angella N., and a few insanely gorgeous headpieces.

Tchau!

It was quite an experience, I must say. Challenging, but fun! Thank you for letting me share a little bit of my favorite designers, artists and inspiration. It was quite a pleasure to read the fairy tales again. I encourage you to do the same. Your interpretations may not be the same as when you were five…

Which fairy tale heroine are you?

Happy Friday and have a wonderful weekend. RJ!

Hi RJ, I thoroughly enjoyed your posts this week! I hope you decide to continue this series/theme on your own blog. I personally related more with Little Red Riding Hood but def enjoyed your interpretation of a more bad-ass Cinderella.

Rei Jin, you are the best visual story teller ever…so far today. ;P <3

That zipper picture is wicked. I love it. I used to have hair to my waist and very thick and curly and would flip it over and put on sunglasses over the hair like Cousin It from the Munsters…my twins would laugh even though they never saw the show.
Awesome post!

The hair-do with the zipper is very well done, Rei Jin truly has an innovative and imaginative mind. Can’t wait to see more.
