hi d*s readers, i just wanted to thank everyone for joining me for a cup of coffee and a muffin this week, it’s been a pleasure. also, a very special thank you to the d*sponge herself for inviting me to guest-sketch-blog.
if anyone has a favorite coffeeshop that they think i would enjoy visiting and drawing at, please mention it in the comments section, there will be plenty more coffeeshop drawings in the future.
coffee shop above // sweet melissa patisserie: i finally am including a coffee shop that is south of the williamsburg bridge. what better way to conclude sketchblogging for d*s than coffee with the *sponge herself, grace. we had a lovely time sitting in the backyard chatting, catching up and sipping iced coffee. while i didn’t actually have a muffin, the day was beautiful and the company excellent. coffee shop // broadway & 23rd st: okay, not a coffee shop, but i am a huge fan of the new manhattan no-car islands (pedestrian plazas?) along broadway. comfortable chairs and tables, great views of buildings and people, and plenty of choices of food and drink. can one ask for more?
