whenever i see an email in my inbox from someone at uxus design, i get excited. we’ve run their gorgeous design work before (an incredible dutch canal house and their super-cool mcvillage) and today i’m thrilled to add a new piece of uxus design: la finca.

la finca is a private home in mallorca spain that, quite frankly, looks like it could use a design blogger to keep it company this summer. this beautiful home is set on a 13th century spanish farm and just oozes the sort of cool european minimalism i could never pull off at my own home. my favorite details are the faux painted headboards and wooden frames that lend beds and cabinets a sort of modern drama. while i pack my suitcase and plan a way to get into this home, i’ll let the rest of the photos do the talking. i’ve chosen my 10 favorite shots above and below the jump, but you can click here for the full set of full-sized images on flickr. thanks to george at uxus for sharing these gorgeous shots!
