d*s in house beautiful

ds_full_frame
i just wanted to say a quick thank you to house beautiful magazine for including us in their holiday china feature. the magazine invited a group of people to work with simple white china from pottery barn and dress it up in their own unique way for a non-specific “holiday” setting. i tweeted a little peek into our shoot at saipua last month and am happy to share some more images of our take on the china here today.

d*s editors amy merrick and sarah ryhanen helped style the shoot, creating beautiful flower arrangements and working with a gorgeous mix of vintage blue and white and ironstone plates. i was so thrilled with the way it turned out and was so happy to see it in this month’s magazine. click here to see the magazine clip. thanks to amy, sarah and house beautiful!

How awesome! I don’t usually read House Beautiful but was just steered toward the latest issue because our Midwest Seed Bombs are mentioned in their gift guide. I was really inspired by the rest of the issue, so I’ll have to add this to my monthly reading list!

I was flipping through the magazine at my moms house when I came across this feature. As soon as I saw the setting I knew exactly what group of lovely ladies had styled it. How exciting!! You guys did an amazing job.

Grace, Amy, and Sarah,
I saw this this weekend, too when my subscription came. This table was a standout in the spread for sure. Very original, well done and interesting. I really like the use of the old crochet doilies. Our former assistant, Emily, loved what she called “Grandma chic” (I assure you she means this in the best way)- I think she’ll really like this idea.

I saw this article yesterday in my House Beautiful magazine and fell in love! I used to work for PB, and knew I recognized that dinnerware. Beautiful color, texture, and vintage feel!

this styling is amazing; vintage but with a modern playful feel. Can you tell me where you got the ornaments? thanks!
