all in a row…

tumblr_kvqdwjZVSe1qauml0o1_500
the d*s guest blog is gearing up for a new writer next week, so in the meantime, i thought it would be nice to use my 8am spots to share images that have been inspiring me lately. i’ve been dealing with some not-so-fun health issues lately (migraines, head fuzziness, blech) so i’ve been trying to focus on simple, pretty images to focus myself and start the day off on the right foot. today’s image is this beautiful grouping of scissors i found on amanda’s tumblr page. it makes me want to clean out my tv junk drawer and get all my odds and ends in order…which i think i’ll do right now. here’s to morning cleans that start the day off on a nice, organized note!

Grace:

Your output has been incredible over the last few years, especially this fall/winter when you were working extra hours to put together the book (I can only imagine). Your health should come first, so take a break if needed. Delegate more to your wonderful columnists/deputies. You won’t be able to keep giving to your community and doing what you love unless you put your health first. We all gain from your work, but it shouldn’t be at such a cost to you.

And a note to AC: you may have to do some heavy-duty enforcing, sir!

Do you know about the Flickr group started by Camilla Engman: “Organized Collection”? It’s really taken off – there are over 4,000 posts!

Love this photograph, even the floor. I’m there with you on feeling blah with migraines and fuzzy head. Maybe it’s the weather? Feel better!

I had the same symptoms over New Years, and my remedy that cleared it up in 3 days was SLEEP, SLEEP, drink tea and suck on ginger chews. I had to take 2 days off work, but I did manage to read a good book or two. I hope you feel better soon.

First, let me say how much I look forward to going straight to your website each evening when my kids go to bed. I even go to my d*Sponge bookmark before I check my own e-mail! Second, I am not a doctor-but have you tried eliminating gluten from your diet?Going gluten free has improved head fuzziness and migraines in my family!
Thanks for much inspiration!

Take care. I had dizziness, etc. for about four months and I’m finally feeling better. Hang in there. It will get better!
