speaking of inspiring- i’d like to spend a few hours in this incredible white room created by artist emily ann nachison. emily used netting, camouflage netting, latex paint, spray paint, crystals, zip ties, and string to create this seriously heavenly installation. wouldn’t it be fun if more people had artists create installations like this in their homes? if i had a spare room i’d love to create a space like this where i could go and chill out and imagine i’m living in a cloud…

Escape! I actually would love to feel the cloud envelop me as I drifted off into a happy, quite sleep. Only thing I’ve seen similar was at the Cooper Hewitt Museum, where creamy felt hung from the conservatory.

Where it is light and airy, it is beautiful. The grayish thick blobs…not as much.

Reminds me of Petah Coyne!

I love seeing Emily’s progression as an artist. It’s great to see her on Design Sponge again.

indeed this would be a fantastic idea for a spare room to take a break from it all…

To support the arts people should hire instillation artist to do their projects in their living space or office lobby…

This reminds me of Mario Brothers the movie. There is a scene with a whole lot of goo hanging all around, from the ceiling in blobs like that.

I hope you don’t think I mean your installation to look like hanging goo though… just reminds me of a memory. :)

It’s imagination-invoking. Great job!

What a beautiful idea! But I would want one tiny change – I’d want the floor painted blue, either a lovely sky blue or a sparkling turquoise blue that makes you think of the ocean in the Bahamas. Lovely!
