when i was putting together this month’s under $100 column for domino we thought it would be fun to try for under $1 finds. but after a week of searching i thought it just couldn’t be done. so i went with 25 products under $10. but now it looks like my friend katy elliott has done the impossible- a great list of products under $1! she’s always got her eyes on something gorgeous so i was psyched to see her list live on domino’s site. click here to check out katy’s incredibly budget-friendly product roundup.

every month i round up a selection of themed products for domino- all under $100. but this month we set the bar even higher (or lower) and the roundup is all under $10. i was a little worried that i wouldn’t be able to find much for that price range but surprisingly there were some great pieces out there. so click here to check out this month’s selection of 20 great products under $10. if you missed any of the previous month’s under $100 columns you can click here to see the full series.
[quick ps/explanation: the orla kiely notebooks listed at $12 had been on sale at a different site for $10 but unfortunately sold out so you'll see the orla kiely notebooks are $12. i figured they were still close (and cute) enough to include]

just a quick time-out before our next before & after: the good morning america video clip is up online now. aside from talking way, way too fast, i think overall it wasn’t a total bomb so i’m thrilled. mostly i’m overjoyed that i got a chance to talk about some of my favorite artists and independent shops on a national television program. click here to check it out.

i’m thrilled to announce a new project i’m starting today: a monthly column for domino magazine’s website. deborah and catherine invited me to bring my budget-friendly column from house & garden over to domino’s site and i was happy to start working with them. rather than a weekly roundup, i’ll be gathering 20-25 products, all under $100, with a theme related to that month’s issue of domino. this month: green decorating accessories and home products that won’t break the bank. click here to check out the first d*s under $100 on domino.
coming next month: all things decorating (essentials and the perfect pieces to finish your room, all on a budget)
