design show season is almost here and i’m so excited i feel like my entire home office is starting to vibrate from all the anticipation and excitement. next week i’ll be sharing some pre-show coverage for all of the shows taking place this month (icff, bklyn designs, surtex, the national stationery show) but today i wanted to end things with some beautiful new pieces from lotta jansdotter. lotta will be showing as part of bklyn designs next week (i’ll be there with bells on- i can’t wait!) but i wanted to share a little sneak preview of my favorites: beautiful new pillows, pencil cases and tote bags. i love all the yellow, grey/linen and purple. click here for more information on lotta jandsotter or stay tuned on may 12th for full bklyn designs coverage. i’ll see you on monday, until then, here’s a summary of this week’s highlights. have a great weekend!

it’s been a nutty week here at d*s- the first half of the week was spent in sunny los angeles and still feels like a dream. i got to see so many incredible places and meet so many fantastic people- i just want to thank everyone again who came out to the biz ladies meetup- it was such a treat to meet so many talented women. also, if you attended the biz ladies meetup and would like a free listing on delightfulblogs, just click here and indicate that you attended the meetup this week (skip the paypal payment)- lynda at delightful blogs offered a free listing to those who attended the meetup and have been blogging for at least three months. in other news, there’s another brooklyn flea this weekend so i hope to see you all there! the vendors will be fantastic and i’ll be there enjoying mini-cupcakes in the d*s collective section. hope to see you in ft. greene! until then, here’s a summary of this week’s highlights [images above and below by molly at chairloom]:

it’s been a wonderful week here at d*s and i’m thrilled to head out again next monday for los angeles! i’ll be in town for a quick trip monday through wednesday to host the LA biz ladies meetup at design within reach on the 15th. if you’re in town and would like to come, stop on by! i’ll be sure to take as many pictures as possible and hit as many great local shops as i can. in the meantime, i’m gearing up for design season next month and itching to get started on covering the stationery show, surtex, icff and brooklyn designs. until then, here’s a roundup of this week’s highlights- including the d*s reader survey winners. see you monday!
